A while ago Jason Singer proposed to do something with Basile Amacher’s leftover footage on our website. We had a look at the stuff and quickly decided to ask Jason to put together some random questions. Some more, and some less serious.

Jason: What are your plans with the kasper flip?

Basile: Jajaja I don’t know exactly. I just tried to do something different. But maybe I have to wait until a famous American starts doing them and the shit talk about that gets put on standby.

Do you do push ups every morning?

Yeah I’m trying… New resolutions for 2008: Not going out every weekend, no more alcohol, push ups every morning! Change my life, you know? Anyway, I started with 20… I can’t really do more before noon. We got February now and I keep on pushing. Jajaja

I heard about some Indian story about the bowl in vidy!

Mmmm.. Yes. Nobody knows that, but they’ve built the park over a really old Indian cementary. So now the bowl got a malediction and a lot of guys get accidents. Besides that it’s a really expensive fucked up bowl without any street stuff. Just a lot of wasted place.. You can’t play a game of skate because the flat is full of waves.. Grrr.. So don t go skate there

What would you do with out crailtap?

Pfff! I don’t know man. Maybe I’m an addicted fan. But I’m not checking just that one. Safariclothing.ch, yvesmarchon.tv and this site are regulars aswell.

What are the plans with 242 for 2008?

Mmmm.. Great question. I think we have to work more with the German part cause we have friends there since a long time and the spots are really great. We are in Switzerland, not in 2 different countries, so we have to mix the 2 parts and maybe the 3rd one day…

How will this happen?

Miguel Alzate joined the team recently and maybe somebody else soon. We are filming all over for the next video with Yves Marchon – out in 2008.

And otherwise?

Other plans are to get the team restructured and move on with those guys who are really motivated to skate and do good things like video parts, demos, etc. Because for keeping that great life – ‘Skating, traveling, sex and rock’n’roll’ – we have to sell boards in order to make new ones. Some times it’s hard to mix skateboardding, the brand, shops together, but i don’t wanna change my life for nothing

‘Ben Thé, an Antiz rider, will be living for two years in Geneva… He’s doing an Art School here… And He’ll be skating and filming some tricks for the next Antiz video with me… Anyway, the news is that he finished his new website full of art and stuff he does beside skateboarding: http://createavitea.com/index.html Check it out…! He’s really a great artist. Doing collages in the streets and some painting… One of his last jobs was the painting of a Carhartt shop in Germany. Just amazing…! Ok… He’s not Swiss… He’s French, from Annecy but he lives here so… It could be great to do something about his art on the site…’
